“Recent developments on financial crime, corruption and money laundering"

Thessaloniki, 4-12 July 2018 

The Research Institute for Transparency, Corruption and Financial Crime, Faculty of Law - Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, hosts an intensive 8-day summer school on recent developments in the fields of financial crime, corruption and money laundering at a national, European and international level, for participants who wish to advance their knowledge in this field. 

The summer school will focus on ongoing developments of key issues in combating international fraud, corruption and money laundering, international and European anti-fraud mechanisms and procedures, etc. Recent developments to be discussed will include, inter alia, the new directive on fraud against the EU financial interests, the new Regulation on the European Public Prosecutor’s Office, the 4th anti-money laundering directive, which recently came into force, as well as the proposal to amend it, etc.

Tokyo University of Foreign Studies - TUFS Short Stay Summer Program 2018

The TUFS Short Stay Summer Program 2018 - Japanese Language & Cultural Studies will be held from July 23rd to August 8th, 2018 in Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.

This three-week intensive program is aimed at learners of the Japanese language who are currently enrolled in universities and the admission priority is given to the students who are currently enrolled in our partner universities. We offer two courses - Business Japanese and General Japanese. Both courses are designed to provide the learners practical Japanese language lessons and hands-on exposure to Japanese culture and society.

CERN Spring campus 2018

The 2018 CERN Spring Campus is the fifth edition of a series of schools dedicated to Information Technology and Computing. Started in 2014, the CERN Spring Campus brings a new dimension to CERN’s scientific and cultural activities. Over 4 intensive days, this event will bring together experts from around CERN, to meet with future engineers and scientists in a program of scientific and technological dissemination and cultural exchange.

This year, the school will take place in Riga Technical University  between the 23rd and the 26th of April 2018.

The target audience is primarily final year BSc students and MSc students in the field of Computer Science or related, who want to know more about the latest technologies and industry trends in IT. We also have some spots reserved for recent graduates.

At the end of the course, a certificate (with indicated workload in ECTS) will be given to the students who successfully attended the sessions.

The University of Graz Summer School 2018: HIDDEN LIBRARIES II will take place in Graz from July 2-13.
