Prevention and safety advice
The safety and security of students and visitors is important to the University of Coimbra (UC). Even though Portugal ranks third in the Global Peace Index 2017 and Coimbra has one of the lowest crime rates in Portugal according to the Annual Report of Homeland Security, all citizens are advised to take some prevention and safety measures.
