1- Check if there is an agreement between your home university and the University of Coimbra

2- Choose the course units you wish to attend

3- Fill in the online Application Form
It is available here

4- Send it signed by you and by the ECTS Departmental Coordinator, to the International Relations Unit.

5- Don’t forget to include the academic transcript of records (register of your academic performance) and the learning agreement.

6- If your application is successful you will receive:

• your learning agreement duly signed;
• a letter of acceptance.

7- You are almost ready to come
Don't forget to bring:

• Passport or Identity Card
• 2 photos
• Letter of acceptance
• European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) for your medical assistance

If you are not an European Union citizen

• Prepare your Visa, even for three months of studies
• Get yourself a private medical insurance
