On Tuesday 13th November 2012 the ISCTE-IUL MITPortugal Venture Competition announces the winners of its 3rd edition. In a Track Finals ceremony that hosted by ISCTE -Lisbon University Institute, in partnership with MIT, MIT-Portugal, the Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation at MIT, the MIT Entrepreneurship Center, Sloan Business School and Caixa Empreender+, RetroSiM wins the Honorable Mention for the Sustainable Energy and Transportation Track.
RetroSiM is a web-based, software-as-a-service platform that produces complete building analysis and retrofit action recommendation for building retrofits. The idea behind RetroSiM is Ehsan Asadi’s PhD project. Ehsan currently is at his 5th year PhD study under MIT Portugal Program at University of Coimbra.
