BACHELOR DEGREE IN INFORMATICS ENGINEERING

The graduation in Informatics Engineering (LEI) covers a large range of computer science topics including programming, computational intelligence, information systems, computer networks and software engineering, as well as fundamentals of physics and mathematics.

The main goal of this graduation is to provide future engineers with the theoretical knowledge, methods and competences to develop computational applications. The graduates may pursue more advanced levels of studies, such as a M. Sc. or a Ph.D, or start a career in the Industry.

The LEI thus ensures that graduates own knowledge and comprehension of concepts, basic principles, theories, methods and practice of computation and are able to express them through an integrated set of systematic, inter-personal and instrumental competences.
