Masters in Informatics Engineering

blueline

The Master in Informatics Engineering (MEI), adapted according to the Bologna Process, is based on over twenty experience in Bachelor and Masters courses in the area of IT.
The course follows the latest curriculum recommendations from the Association for Computer Machinery (ACM) and the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), adapting them to the national students’ specific characteristics, to the mobility spirit desired in the Higher Education European space, and to recommendations collected from a wide panel of national recruiters who have supported us in the reform of our Degrees.
This Master’s is a 4-semester-course, organized according to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), which include a dissertation/internship of 42 ECTS.

In accordance with the Bologna process, the MEI student has ample space to adapt an individualised profile, being able to draw an entirely personalized path or to choose one of three advised areas named Theme Options, specializing in a certain scientific-technological area.
The three Theme Options defined coincide widely with the areas set in the ACM/IEEE curricular recommendations:

  •  Communications and Networks Engineering
  •  Systems and Computing
  •  Information Systems and Software Engineering
