SPAM and Eudora Configuration

1 - SPAM Identification

In order to have your messages identified as SPAM, follow the instructions below:

"Controlo de correio não solicitado (SPAM)" in: https://www1.ci.uc.pt/mancontas/antispam

Endereço e-mail: username@fe.uc.pt     or    ucnºstudent@student.fe.uc.pt
Cód. Acesso: chosen by user
Nível de controlo: choose the level intended

Tools - Options

  Getting Started:
Real Name: ...
Email: username@fe.uc.pt     or    ucnºstudent@student.fe.uc.pt
Mail Server (Incoming): mail.uc.pt
User Name: username@fe.uc.pt     or    ucnºstudent@student.fe.uc.pt
SMTP Server (Outgoing): mail.uc.pt
Select Allow Authentication

  Checking Mail:
Secure Sockets when Receiving select Required, Alternate Port

  Sending Mail:
Secure Sockets when Sending select Required, STARTTLS


3 - To identify SPAM messages, follow the insctructions:
Create Rules (an example because the user may choose other options)
