With his doctoral thesis "“Moldar as economias urbanas – uma conta satélite de deslocações pendulares” in an ongoing process, the Coimbra University student João Pedro Ferreira reached the first place ex-aequo in the 22nd International Input-Output Association Conference. The prize was awarded on the 18th of July in Lisbon.

Smith, University of Warwick, was recently cited in two elite journals on economics, the Review of Economic Studies and the Journal of Econometrics.
