NEW 1st CYCLE COURSES 2018/2019
Beginning in the 2017/2018 academic year, FLUC offers broadband and interdisciplinary degrees following an innovative educational model that gives students freedom of choice and autonomy to outline their own study programs.
In 2015, this curricular reform received the innovative teaching project award from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
|Field of Expertise||Complementary Training Area or minor||General Training Area|
|3 course units (uc) introducing university knowledge, among 12 available choices.||Between 18 and 22 course units from the course’s field of expertise (among 24 possible choices)||5 course units from a different scientific field. If the 5 chosen course units belong to the same course, they can form a minor.|
Between 0 and 4 course units from any other course offered by FLUC or the UC
If the student wishes to strengthen their field of expertise, they can drop the course units from the general training area
|18 ECTS||108 to 132 ECTS||30 ECTS||0 to 24 ECTS|
Each semester comprises 5 course units corresponding to 30 ECTS. Hence, students must enrol in 10 course units every academic year. Before enrolling, students are strongly advised to consult their tutors.
