Deadline January 16, 2012 The Organizer would like to invite you to the 3rd Edition of the ADVANCED COURSE and INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON CLINICAL CASE REPORTS – from genotype and phenotype to clinical expression and genetic counselling, which will take place in Coimbra, January 25, 26, 2012. The course will teach the singular characteristics of mitochondrial genome (mtDNA), the bigenomic interaction and clinical management of mitochondrial diseases.. Additionally, the review of modern approaches in mtDNA and nDNA investigation for medical and research applications will provide valuable tools to the participants, for understanding the particular characteristics of the second genome and its role in health and disease. The presentation of clinical cases by the participants will promote discussion with International Experts, allowing significant improvements in diagnosis of complex cases. The abstract submission deadline are January 16, 2012. Further news on this workshop will be released soon.
