A main focus of the Unit’s Research Groups has been the establishment and reinforcement of the strategic networking activities and cooperation with national and specially with international researchers and institutions, namely by collaborations in research projects and international publications, co-jointed orientations of PhD students and Postdoc fellows, co-jointed workshops and conferences, mobility of PhD students and doctorate researchers (e.g. internships in leading international Research Groups).
There is a continuous effort with Postgraduate education of PhD students and continuous professional development of all researchers promoting the opportunity to be trained and to acquire new knowledge in high-level research units. There are already research placements in several international research units (e.g. Institute of Medical Psychology, Germany).
Simultaneously we seek to include professionals who are experts in ground-breaking scientific areas encouraging top class researchers from other countries to work on research projects (e.g. Marie Curie actions)
