Other projects

Several other short and medium-term projects are always taking place at ICNAS, usually involving PhD or master students (e.g. from Biomedical or Physics engineering). Some of the areas under developement include:

  • image processing (segmentation of organs/lesions, image fusion)
  • improvement of PET quantification (data corrections, image reconstruction, compartment modelling)
  • bioinformatics (development of image databases, data integration)
  • cyclotron and radiochemistry (beam applications, optimization of radioisotope/radiotracer production)
