Fernando Taveira da Fonseca

He is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra and President of the Economic and Social History Institute. He is also Secretary of the management board of História da Universidade em Portugal, a collective work in preparation, and is a member of the Committee of the University of Coimbra’s application for UNESCO World Heritage status. He was a member of the Management Council of the Faculty of Letters. His research interests include economic and social history of the modern age, the history of universities and the history of education.
