Maria de Fátima Sousa e Silva
She is Full Professor at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra and a researcher at the Centre for Classic and Humanistic Studies at the same university. Her research interests are in the areas of: translation and study of Greek theatre, of Aristophanes and Menander, Aeschylus, and Euripides; Greek historiography and specially Herodotus; and the study of existence of classical themes in Portuguese dramaturgical texts.
She has often collaborated both as a teacher or visiting lecturer at several foreign universities, namely in Spain, France, Greece, and Brazil.
