She teaches at the Law Faculty of the University of Coimbra, where she graduated in 1996, completing her Master’s degree in 1999 and her Doctorate in 2009. Over the years she has devoted her work to several themes related to public law, as can be seen in the articles she published in the fields of general administrative law, cultural heritage law, constitutional law, tax law, environmental law, and energy law. This research is framed within the context of studies carried out on the theme of changes in public law due to changes in the paradigm of the State, thus leading to her Doctorate thesis entitled “The effects of a State that supports, oversees and guarantees the Energy Sector.”
The author not only has an academic career, but she is a also a lawyer, practicing since 1998. In addition, she has collaborated in some working groups, namely those monitoring the writing of the National Programme for Territorial Planning Policy.
