The Centro Cultural D. Dinis (CCDD) is a unique cultural space located on the UC Campus (POLO I) and is intricately linked to the academic experience. Its many rooms make this ideal for various space initiatives. Events taking place at CCDD are diversified and high quality, where you can watch musicals, plays, dance performances, visit exhibitions in the art gallery, watch movies, seminars and other activities. While having a coffee or a drink you can watch a show, visit an exhibition at the art gallery, sit and chat in one of several areas surrounding the Cultural Center. This space is also available during the day for the academic community - meetings, training activities, workshops, etc., to which events can always be associated with a catering service.

Concert with La Flag + Mantra bands,  27 july, 10pm at Centro Cultural D. Dinis

Mantra:

Directly from Viana do Castelo , the Mantra arise , once national band that proves that stoner-rock remains in good health in our country. Hell Or High Water EP is the name of the first project , released in February this year , which has earned them appearances on stage in places like Cosmic Mess ( the Astrodome company , Boa and Big Red Panda ) , as well as concerts with other national projects like Bent or Quartet of Woah .

La Flag:

Divided between Lisbon and Leiria , the Portuguese La Flag begin to assert itself as one of the leading names of the national post-rock scene or instrumental rock . The first album - Spargelzeit - released in 2014 , earned them accolades from national and international criticism, projecting several concerts since then, including an Iberian tour, where they played with names like God Is An Astronaut or Los Black Jews , and also shared the stage with national names like The Old mechanical or, more recently , Papaya , the Musicbox in Lisbon.

Exhibition | CCDD | Posters from Revolution (see more...)

The exhibition is open at the Gallery of the Cultural Center Dom Dinis until May 2 . It can be visited from 2nd to 6th Friday , from 9 am to 18 pm . Admission is free .
After the April Revolution, the political discourse contested on the poster acquired a central contour in serving the ideals of the various political parties and various movements. Across the country, the invasion was total: roads, walls, streets, monuments and street furniture won the most varied political messages. The poster was in the post April 25 one of the mass media most used by the different agents and social and political movements.
With this exhibition, part of the collection of the Documentation Centre on April 25 , the Cultural Center Dom Dinis intends to show the public some iconic images of that time, precisely in the month we commemorate the April Revolution.
