Today at 6 pm the new book by Luísa Schmidt will be launched at Rómulo - Centro Ciência Viva da Universidade de Coimbra.
Applications for the second edition of Santander Universidades Volunteering Award are open until October 27th. The EUR3,000 prize will be awarded to 10 relevant projects.
The Choir of the University Chapel welcomes all new students and invites them to be part of the choir, founded in 1984. Rehearsals take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9:30 pm at Instituto Justiça e Paz. Find all relevant information here.
Next Saturday at 10.30 am you can try a different morning at the Geophysical and Astronomical Observatory of the University of Coimbra, where you will be able to observe the sun, visit the Museum collection, the Spectral Heliograph and attend the Planetarium session. Entrance is free though subject to registration here .
The Coimbra Concert Cycle is back. Between October 8th and December 8th the city will host the third edition of the event. The opening ceremony will be dedicated to actor António Capelo's 40-year-career and will take place next Sunday at 6 pm at the Music Conservtory of Coimbra.
The 2nd International Congress in Public Law (II Congresso Internacional de Direito Público - Justiça e Efetivação dos Direitos Humanos) will take place at the Rectorship Auditorium from the 11th to the 13th October.
During the month of October, SASUC will promote once again the free training cursos UC/Skills , aimed at all UC students. Registration is mandatory.
