2º Place at the competition “Best Business Idea” promoted by ACIC (Commercial and Industrial Association of Coimbra) in 2007, with the project for the company GLUV based on the development of photocrosslinkable bioadhesives.

Co-authorship of a distance learning course, (ODL - Open and Distance Learning), named “Polymeric Biomaterials”. The course was prepared in the scope of the project Biotechunte (Biotechnology University Formation for Enterprise Development), and of the European biotechnology thematic network (Sócrates Thematic Network), and coordinated by The University of Perugia, Italy, 2007.
