Presentation facilities include PCs with the most recent versions of MS Office and Adobe Reader.
Due to the rather tight schedule, speakers are strongly advised to upload their presentations (using USB sticks) at their earliest possible convenience (one session in advance is recommended). For any query, please contact the registration desk.
The time allocated for presentations is 40 minutes for plenary lectures, 30 minutes for invited lectures and 20 minutes for contributed talks. THIS TIME INCLUDES 5 MINUTES FOR QUESTIONS.
Each poster location will be indicated by the poster’s assigned number and pins will be provided. Please mount your poster on the day of your poster presentation, before the morning session, and remove it in the evening after the poster session.
There will be two poster sessions: on Tuesday and on Thursday.
You are required to be present at your poster during your assigned session.
Poster sessions will take place in the Main Auditorium.
Maximum poster dimensions will be 80 cm wide x 100 cm high.
SIS2014 in collaboration with YourSolution is providing a poster-printing service to all participants of the 20th SIS. You can receive your printed poster at your arrival to the symposium. The participants can send a ready-to-print pdf file before the symposium to geral@yoursolution.pt and get the poster directly on the poster display boards or at the registration. This eliminates the transportation of the poster carrying tubes and makes sure the posters will arrive to the final destination. Your message should include the following information: 1) Name of the participant and address 2) Details for the receipt (VAT Number and Name) 3) PDF File with the poster presentation format 800x1000 4) Poster Option: Standard (135g/m2, HQ, 40 Eur) or Excellence (200 g/m2, HQ, 20 A4 prints, poster will be sent in a free poster carrying tube to the address of the presenter, after the conference, 80 Eur). Prices are valid up to June 12th. After this date prices are increased by 50%.
