***Monographic Studies and Lecture Cycle

Several seminars will be proposed on Portuguese Literature and Linguistics besides others on Economic, Social and Cultural History, as well as problems of emigration. Each Monographic Subject will only be organized with a minimum of 4 students.

Luso-Descendants

In some subjects there will be classes and activities especially designed for descendants from Portuguese citizens living abroad.

Eligibility and Access

Students must be 16 or over to be eligible for the course. Access to the different levels will depend on the students' knowledge of Portuguese.

Attendance

In order to obtain both the final diploma and the attendance certificate, students shall attend at least 75% of the classes, in each subject. Students' attendance is controlled through "presence lists".

Assessment

In all compulsory subjects, there will be a final exam consisting of a compulsory written test and/or an oral examination to be administered by each teacher. The assessment of Monographic Subjects, on the other hand, will consist of, at least, one paper, which shall be presented and discussed during the sessions.
