Erasmus Mundus - Journalism and MediaErasmus Mundus Masters programme - 'Journalism and Media within Globalization: The European Perspective' - The programme is offered by a consortium of five universities: The Danish School of Journalism/The University of Aarhus, Denmark; University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands; University of Hamburg, Germany; City University London and University of Wales, Swansea, UK. In addition European students can apply for scholarships for exchange to one of our Action 3 partners: University of California at Berkeley, USA; University of Technology Sydney, Australia; Pontificia Universidad Católica, Santiago, Chile. 45 students for each programme are admited from all around the world. The deadline for application for the 2009-11 programme and the Mundus stipends is January 20, 2009. Please note that the European Commission also supports scholarships for academics doing teaching and research at one or more of the consortium partner institutions. The average stipend is 13.000 Euro for a three month period. The deadline for applying for these scholarships is the 20th of January 2009.
