Call for Expression of Interest in MSCA-PF | Association for the Development of Industrial Aerodynamics (ADAI-LAETA) at the University of Coimbra
The Association for the Development of Industrial Aerodynamics (ADAI-LAETA) at the University of Coimbra welcomes applications from young researchers interested in applying for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF) in one of our research areas, which are structured into four specialized research centers:
CEIF – Center for Forest Fire Studies: Focused on understanding fire behavior, fire safety, and wildland-urban interface fires, as well as developing robotics and automation solutions for firefighting.
CIE – Center for Industrial Ecology: Specializing in sustainable mobility, life-cycle assessment, industrial ecology, and circular economy approaches.
CSBE – Center for Sustainability of the Built Environment: Dedicated to energy efficiency, indoor air quality, wind engineering, and the sustainability of urban environments.
CED – Center for Energy and Detonics: Researching energetic materials, detonation characterization, combustion processes, and safety applications in industrial settings.

Eligibility Criteria
- Hold a doctoral degree with no more than 8 years of full-time equivalent research experience (calculator).
- Based in an EU Member State or Associated Country.
- Have not resided in Portugal for more than 12 months in the past 3 years immediately prior to the call deadline.
- Strong track record and experience relevant to ADAI’s research fields (preferred).

Feb 26 – June 26: Call for Expression of Interest
9 April : Launch of the call for proposals
April – Sept: Dedicated Support for Applicants & proposal preparation
9 September 2026, 17:00 CEST: Proposal submission deadline
February 2027: notification of call results to applicants (TBC)
April 2027: grant agreement signature for successful projects (TBC)
May 2027: first EU-funded projects start (TBC)
