Seminar on Creole Languages for Post-Graduates
16-20 March 2008 | Anf. V | Universidade de Coimbra
Instead of just presenting
papers, this seminar provided ample opportunity for scholars doing research on
creole languages to exchange ideas and debate current issues in the
field.
Each session was dedicated to examining one aspect of creole
linguistics, moderated by a participant who presented the main issues in this
area and led the discussion.
The broad range of themes allowed participants
to discuss the individual problems they are having in their research with
colleagues with experience in different creoles who can share their expertise in
various aspects of creole linguistics.
