Workshop on Brazilian PortugueseAn
international workshop on contact linguistics focusing on features found in
Brazilian Vernacular Portuguese as well as creole and African languages (but
not European Portuguese) was held at the University of Coimbra on October 15,
2009. It was organized by Prof. John Holm of Coimbra University and a visiting
post-doctoral researcher, Prof. Marcia Oliveira of the University of São Paulo
so that some of their post-graduate students could meet and discuss their work.
