Information about possible changes to the procedures and calendars in force will be highlighted on this web page and at www.uc.pt/en/candidatos, on which information is updated whenever there are new measures or guidelines to be implemented in the University of Coimbra and in Portugal.
|How to apply to the UC during the pandemic ?|
|||Applications to the University of Coimbra concerning the forthcoming academic year 2020/2021 will take place as expected, in the same way and according to the same calendars. This is because at the University of Coimbra the whole process is carried out online by means of Inforestudante to which the required electronic copies of all the documents are uploaded and submitted.|
|How is UC going to manage these applications ?|
|||At the University of Coimbra the applications process is carried out only by informatic means. Therefore, in face of the current pandemic caused by the virus Covid-19 in Portugal and all over the world, the University is already prepared to receive applications from any place and manage it by adopting remote work (UC personnel working outside the UC facilities using information technologies to perform their work).|

|||The University of Coimbra is attentive, and exceptional situations that need a specific analysis will be taken into account. Therefore, we ask all applicants to complete their applications within the established deadlines and we will ensure that all the application processes take place in a normal manner, in spite of the current scenario.|
|Can you deliver the hard/paper copies of your documents?|
No, under the current scenario, you cannot.
normal circumstances the UC allows this option, and applicants may choose how
to submit their documents during the application.
Nevertheless, under the current pandemic, and taking into account that the circulation of paper documents is strongly conditioned, and the University offers to applicants other alternatives totally online, we cannot accept paper documents.
