International Conference: Codification of Administrative Procedure/Process

The International Conference ‘Codification of Administrative Procedure/Process’ was held on 15 May 2024, organised under the scope of the Sino-Lusophone Academy of the University of Coimbra, with the institutional support of the UC Faculty of Law. With scientific coordination by Jorge Alves Correia (FDUC) and Laone Lago (GDA), the conference promoted a reflection and systematisation of contributions on Bill no. 2481/2022, which is before the Senate for approval by the end of the year to reform the Administrative Procedure Law.

In addition to the participation of distinguished Portuguese and Brazilian speakers, the opening session included speeches by the Director of the Sino-Lusophone Academy and Dean of the UC Faculty of Law, Rui de Figueiredo Marcos, and the Vice-Rector for External Relations and Alumni, João Nuno Calvão da Silva (video recording). The event was closed by the Deputy Dean of the UC Faculty of Law, Paula Veiga, and the event's scientific coordinator, Jorge Alves Correia.
