Submission Guidelines

Ricœuriana – Associação Ibero-Americana de Estudos Ricœurianos has a general ongoing call for monographs and collective edited volumes. Proposals should be submitted to ricoeuriana@gmail.com and include the complete files of the publication in word and pdf format. All proposals will be assessed by the editors-in-chief and undergo a blind peer-review process that will assess their quality. The editors-in-chief are responsible for the final decision on publication. All submissions must be written in Portuguese or Spanish and include a 100-150 word abstract and 5 keywords. Submissions must also include an English translation of the title, abstract and keywords. In the case of collective edited volumes these elements (title of the chapter, abstract and keywords) must be indicated in the opening page of each chapter.

The publication of non-thematic volumes is also foreseen and so we also accept the submission of texts (papers/chapters, interviews, translations or book reviews), as long as they are relevant for the topics covered by the series. These should respect the limit of 10,000 words maximum, with book reviews being 2000 words maximum. Monographs or collective volumes should have 100,000 words maximum.

Ricœuriana follows the Chicago Manual of Styles (notes + bibliography) whose latest version can be assessed at http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/home.html. All publications are available on open access, and can be accessed at https://www.uc.pt/cech/publicacoes/ricoeuriana/
