From 4 November to 2 December, the European Studies Lecture Series will take place, organised by the Section of European Studies of the Department of History, European Studies, Archaeology and Arts at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra, in cooperation with the research centres of the organising lecturers.
The 2025–2026 edition of the series is dedicated to the 40th Anniversary of the Accession of Portugal and Spain to the European Communities, and also includes lectures on other topics related to European integration, aligned with the curricular content of the undergraduate and master’s programmes in European Studies at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra. The programme for the first semester includes seven lectures addressing themes such as social and economic policy, law, cultural diplomacy, and the impact of European projects on public policies.
