The Projectory - Artificial Intelligence in Spring 2025: Domesticating the Machine or Reinventing Scientific Practice?, by Sofia Vaz and Cristina Gouveia (S.714 - Sustainability and Ethics), will take place on 22th April at 10am in the CEIS20 Seminar Room.
This 3-hour workshop aims to combine a practical approach - to explore useful tools in activities such as writing, research, project planning, content creation and organisation - with a reflective and imaginative perspective on the changes that AI can bring to the role of the researcher. Ultimately, this workshop will provide a practical understanding of AI tools, develop interaction skills and foster critical reflection on the future of research activity.
The workshop includes three blocks:
1. Introduction to Artificial Intelligence Tools
2. Prompt Engineering and Effective Interaction with Language Models
3. Imagining the Future of Research and Teaching Practice
The workshop can accommodate up to 20 participants.
