According to the new FCT Policy on Open Access to Scientific Publications, publicly funded research must produce results that are in the public domain, freely accessible and reusable by all. In this way, scientific co-operation and the advancement of science are enhanced, while also promoting greater visibility for scientific production and its authors.
Do you want to understand what the new Policy means in practical terms? Do you want to clear up your doubts about Open Access? Come along to the next Projectório sessions to discover the changes and possibilities for your research practice!
The first session of the cycle will take place on World Book and Copyright Day, 23rd April. We'll be reflecting on Scientific Publications: Models and Funding in the context of the new Open Science Policy with CEIS20 researcher Maria Manuel Borges. The session will take place in the CEIS20 Seminar Room at 2.30pm.
Registration is open until 22nd April via email: projetos.ceis20@uc.pt (Olga Solovova).
