Enne Marx Beserra

Enne Marx has a degree in Performing Arts from the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil; a Master's degree in Artistic Intervention and Animation from the School of Education and Social Sciences - Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Portugal; and is a PhD candidate in Artistic Studies - Theater and Performative Studies at the Faculty of Letters, University of Coimbra, Portugal. She works in the area of Humanities with an emphasis on Performing Arts, in the Study of the Arts of Representation (theater, circus, music and dramaturgy) with a specialization in Clown. A trainer in Theatre and Clowning, she is the founder of the Network of Clown Festivals in Brazil and a member of the UPP - União de Palhaças de Portugal. She worked as a clown in hospitals with Doutores da Alegria (2002-2017 in Recife and São Paulo-BR), where she also worked as a coordinator (2006-2014), assistant in artistic creations and clown training. Co-founder of As Levianas, Brazil's first clown band (2010). Manager of Companhia Animée, a comedy and clowning research company. Among the shows she has performed are: Mary En Virtual Mood (2021) – one of the research practices of her doctoral project; Brazukabaré (2018, 2019); Trueque (2014); As Levianas em Cabaré Vaudeville (2012); As Levianinhas em pocket show para crianças (2012); As Levianas em Pocket show (2010); Palhaços em conSerto (2010); Dramalhaço (2006); Poemas Esparadrápicos (2005); Mistério Buffo (2000) e Casa em Chá dos Prosórov (1999).
