Open Classes | Keynote Series of the PhD in Contemporary Studies
In the framework of the Keynote Series of the PhD in Contemporary Studies, the ‘Societies and Cultures’ curricular unit features the contributions from four researchers representing diverse disciplinary fields. The goal is to familiarize students with theoretical debates that span various disciplines within the humanities and social sciences, providing them with critical tools to develop their own reflections.
In February, we will host an Open Class with Miguel Cardina, a researcher from the Centro de Estudos Sociais (UC). The March classes will be given by CEIS20 integrated researchers Álvaro Garrido and Leonor Losa, on the 10th and 24th respectively. Telmo Marques, professor at the Instituto Politécnico do Porto, will be present on 5th May.
