SoapBox Science Coimbra is back!
Open applications until October 31st
Soapbox Science is a global science communication initiative that promotes women and their science, transporting the knowledge they produce to public places, promoting scientific learning and debate, as well as the diversity and quality of science. Female researchers are invited to climb into a box and, without a microphone, present their research in a simple and understandable way, taking their knowledge to the public on the streets of Coimbra.
The third edition of Soapbox Science Coimbra will take place on 22 November in the streets of downtown Coimbra, in celebration of the National Day of Scientific Culture (24 November 2024). There will be space for UC researchers from different scientific areas and at different stages of their careers (including PhD students) to share their science with the general public, developing communication skills and socialising with other researchers.
