Start of the Postgraduate Program in Information Services Management

On June 21, 2025, the Opening Session/Public Presentation of the Postgraduate Degree in Information Services Management for Archives, Libraries and Museums, aimed at Professors and Senior Technicians, was held at 10:30 a.m. in the Municipal Library Auditorium.

At 11am, an Inaugural Lecture was given by Professor Zeny Duarte Miranda, from UFBA, on “The importance of strategic ABM management for satisfying human information needs”.

The Scientific Coordination will be carried out by Professor Maria Beatriz Marques, from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra.

This course, 100% funded by the PRR/Impulso Adultos, will be held on a hybrid basis, on Fridays from 18:00 to 22:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 18:00.
