Where people are cared for and die is shifting. Respecting preferences is important. The EOLinPLACE Project Team has gone deeper to understand the diversity of preferred and actual dying places. The EAPC Public Health & Palliative Care Reference Group advocates for a public health approach to improve end of life care across settings.
A global reform of how dying places are classified is underway. This is a major development for the field of palliative care.
