V Congress of Local History

On the 4th and 5th of November, the V Congress of Local History took place at the University of Coimbra.
The thematic and geographic diversity of the communications presented enabled the construction of an event of great wealth for those who participated online or in person.
During the meeting, a proposal for the foundation of the Portuguese Association of Local History was launched, received with enthusiasm by those present, and work is already underway to prepare a meeting to start this project.
The organizing committee is about to start the preparatory work for the VI Congress of Local History, to be held at the end of 2022.
