Prof. Alexandra Aragão, an associate professor at FL/UC, has joined a worldwide team of experts in various Earth Sciences-related fields that will participate in the finals of the CIFAR 2022 award in Toronto, Canada.
CIFAR is a Canada-based international foundation that supports disruptive projects of a global scope. Current year's competition is themed “The Future of Being Human”. The project presented by the team integrated by Dr. Alexandra Aragão is entitled “A Flourishing Future of Being Human: inclusive methodologies for bridging the sciences of the Anthropocene and achieving higher levels of equity”.
