The first session of the Webinar Series: Legal Research Methods will be held on 23 February 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This event will feature Ana Gaudêncio (FDUC/UCILeR) and Luís Meneses do Vale (FDUC/UCILeR), who will inaugurate this cycle with a presentation on the topic “Methodology of scientific work in the field of law.”

This series of webinars is aimed at doctoral students, early-career researchers, and researchers participating in interdisciplinary projects, to provide information about the methods used in legal research in various academic contexts, regardless of the academic work being developed in accordance with their supervisors. The need for these webinars stems from the growing participation of legal researchers in interdisciplinary projects, as well as the requirements of international scientific journals.

Each session will last one hour, with the participation of up to two guests (40 minutes), preceded by a 10-minute introduction and followed by a 10-minute discussion, moderated by one of the scientific coordinators.
