The organisation and follow-up of internships of the Masters in Economics at the FEUC are undertaken with the administrative support of the Career Development Office (CDO), which is responsible for enrolling students in the internship and receiving the internship offers by firms and other institutions. The CDO is also responsible for writing the protocols and for receiving the assessments made by the host institution on the interns.
The internship coordinator confirms that the candidates’ entry requirements are met, analyses the internship offer and, whenever the standard objectives of an ME internship are met, allocates the internship to an academic supervisor and collaborates on the resolution of problems that may occur during the process.
The academic supervisor is a member of the teaching staff and is responsible for guiding the intern in the preparation of the Internship Report. The coordinator and the academic supervisor are members of the jury during the Internship Report public discussion.
