IIIUC

BEB Symposium | The symposium of the PhD Programme in Experimental Biology and Biomedicine

Evening Debate

21:00 at TCSB – free admission

This part of the event will take place at Teatro da Cerca de São Bernardo (TCSB).

For the evening debate, we invited a panel composed of notable figures of Portuguese and international scientific, cultural and political society that will mirror a spectrum of scientific sensibilities and non-scientific relevant to the subject. This part of the event will also be broadcasted live via Rádio Universidade de Coimbra (RUC).

Without any given guidelines this panel will discuss, through their personal views, reflecting their life experiences and career, in what way “Knowledge is Power”.

Porto Biomedical Journal is the sponsor of this debate. Committed to be "where science meets knowledge" this online free-to-submit and open-access journal devoted to the publication of top quality biomedical research, believes that this debate is a clear example of the role that scientific community should play in our society.

Free admission, but due to seating limitation.
