Financial Support Program for Frequency of Master's Courses at the University of Coimbra

Applications are open for qualified bilingual (Chinese and Portuguese) Macao residents to attend master's courses taught by the University of Coimbra, with the support of the Government of Macao.

Period for submission of applications: from 1 to 15 June, 2020

Scholarships for academic studies about China

Information only available in Portuguese, for University of Coimbra students wishing to further study in China or to do academic research on China and Macau.

  • Macao Foundation Scholarships: submission of applications until April 17 and May 15, 2020
  • "China Three Gorges" Master Scholarships: submission of applications for the academic years 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 from April 5 until May 31, 2020.

Academic Research Grants

Objective: to encourage original academic research on the culture of Macao, and on the exchange between Macao, Mainland China and other countries.

Applications period: from March 1 to May 31, every year.

The following persons may apply: 

1. Local or overseas doctorate degree holders, with proven academic research experience;

2. Local or overseas individuals, with sufficient research experience and recognized academic production.
