Eugénia Cunha

She was born in Coimbra in 1962 and holds a Degree in Biology and a Doctorate (1994) from the University of Coimbra. Since 2003 she has been Professor of Anthropology at the Department of Life Sciences of the University’s Faculty of Science and Technology. She is also a national consultant on forensic anthropology at INML, President of the Forensic Anthropology Society of Europe (FASE) and Master’s Coordinator of Evolutionary and Human Biology at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra. She has also co-ordinated an international publication on forensic anthropology, and has written many scientific and popular articles.

Her main research interest areas are skeletal biology in the context of forensic anthropology and human evolution.
