Genaro Luis Garcia Lopez

He holds a Doctorate in Documentation, having taught and carried out research in many different universities. He is currently coordinator at the Department of Libraries and Documentation of the Master’s program in Digital Information Systems at the Faculty of Translation and Documentation of the University of Salamanca, and is a teacher on the Degree in Documentation and on the university doctoral programs in the same are, where he teaches in the area of on line catalogue evaluation, evolution of socialisation and reading and analysis and documental languages. He has published distinguished works in the area of documentation. In 2002 his work Reading as a public service earned him the first special mention of the second Marcelo Martínez Alcubilla prize organised by the Spanish Ministry of Public Administration.
