Isabel Castiajo

She holds a Master’s Degree in Classical Culture (Classical Theatre) and has a post-graduate diploma in the teaching of Latin. She took her Degree at the University of Coimbra in the area of Portuguese and Classical Languages and Literatures.

She worked as a teacher in state middle and secondary schools between 1998 and 2006, teaching Portuguese from the seventh to the twelfth grades and Latin in the 11th grade, also acting as class director and Department Coordinator.

Between 2006 and August 2011 she worked as curricular manager in the area of Portuguese at Edições ASA where, among other tasks, she was responsible for teacher training in this area. She currently teaches Portuguese to students from the eight to the twelfth grades at the International School in Porto. She is also an actress, stage director and drama teacher.
