Joaquim Pinheiro

Assistant professor at the University of Madeira (Faculty of Arts and Humanities) and research member at the Centre for Classical and Humanistic Studies (University of Coimbra). He has undertaken research on the work of Plutarch, Greco-Roman mythology, classical rhetoric and political thought in Classical Antiquity. He is DIAITA Project research member - Lusophone Food Heritage (supported by FCT, Capes and Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation). He has been coordinator of the Academic Development Centre at the University of Madeira since 2013.
