Maria Teresa Ribeiro Pessoa

She is an Auxiliary Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Doctorate in Educational Sciences from the University of Coimbra. She has taught nationally and internationally in the areas of teacher training and educational technology, and in Master’s degree courses and Doctorates. She is currently coordinating the area of educational and communication technologies in the Master’s degree in Educational Sciences at the University of Coimbra.

At present she is taking part in national and international project in the areas of: cyberbullying, learning through information and communication technologies (IT) and the narrative education of the teacher. She is a member of the Education and Training Studies Group at the University of Coimbra and a collaborating member of the Cognitive Psychology and Social and Vocational Development Institute at the University of Coimbra. She is the pedagogical coordinator of the special project on Distance Learning at the University of Coimbra.
