Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP)

General Information about BIPs

The Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) represent an innovative approach to learning, teaching, and training, designed to provide an intensive learning experience by combining both physical and virtual components. These programmes are developed and implemented by a minimum of three Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) from at least three European Union Member States or third countries associated with the Erasmus+ Programme, with funding provided by this mobility programme.

Throughout these programes, groups of students or academic and administrative staff collaborate on developing blended mobility and curricular activities that involve practical challenges and projects.

These programmes are tailored to meet the participants needs and are created through a collaborative approach among partner institutions.

BIPs offer an outstanding opportunity for students and staff from higher education institutions to expand their knowledge, experience new cultures and enhance their professional training.

Furthermore, these programmes contribute to the development of international cooperation networks among partner institutions, which is essential for promoting high-quality higher education on a global scale.
