sitecaedhome

HYBRID CONFERENCE: Portugal has vaccinated more than 80% of its population against Covid-19. We are informed that in some countries there are still some constraints to travel. Thus, the organisation has decided to set up a conference hybrid format.

November 19-21, 2021

Faculty of Economics, University of Coimbra (Portugal)

The 17th CAED conference on research using enterprise microdata to be held in Coimbra, Portugal. The event promotes scientific research using enterprise microdata on a variety of topics and from different (and inter) disciplinary approaches. It is a unique meeting point for producers and users of these data, including as statisticians, survey methodologists, data scientists, econometricians, economists, business researchers, and sociologists and other social scientists. It is also an opportunity for policymakers to acquaint themselves with the newest research results and policy evidence and evaluation in this rapidly expanding field.

The conference will feature keynote presentations by Nicholas Bloom (Stanford University) and John T. Addison (University of South Carolina)

We will welcome papers related to the following but non-exhaustive list of topics:

  • Productivity
  • Firm dynamics
  • Resource reallocation and adjustment costs
  • International trade
  • Information and communication technology
  • R&D
  • Digital Marketing
  • Competition
  • Transition and development
  • Labour and industrial relations
