Workshop "Dados de Observação da Terra para investigação e aplicações"

Earth Observation (EO) data is an essential resource for advancing research in climate science, ecology, and natural resource management. To strengthen EO literacy within the academic community, we are organizing a hands-on training workshop designed for students and researchers interested in accessing and analyzing EO data effectively.

This in-person workshop will feature expert speakers, including Andrea Portier (NASA/SSAI), Vasco Mantas (UC), André Duarte (RAÍZ), and Claudia Caro (UNALM), who will provide insights into EO applications and best practices. Participants will gain practical experience with key tools, including NASA’s Giovanni platform for data access and visualization.
