The recent updates and changes within the EU Directive 2010/63 and the Eighth Edition of the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals emphasizes that all personnel involved with the care and use of animals must be adequately trained, continuously educated and objectively assessed in terms of competency.

This workshop comes as an answer from the Responsible Body of the Animal Facility at IBILI – FMUC (Subunit I) to this requirement.

All technical staff and researchers are invited to be trained in several techniques and procedures of rodents, confirming their competency and ensuring the welfare of the animals within their projects.
